Trip to Salvation Mountain and Slab City

This is Leonard Knight's mailbox.

Various cacophonists walked the yellow path up Salvation Mountain, looked around, and soon headed to the sinful slabs, where we engaged in diplomatic relations with an inhabitant of Slab City named Mike. These diplomatic relations were such a well-lubricated success that the next morning we were unable to deliver on our promise to God, ourselves, and Leonard Knight to help him paint.

We hope our paint donation and Slab City diplomatic expedition, which also involved the rental of a truck from a guy named Tommy and a visit to a tank graveyard strewn with practice bombs (and a few of the real kind, unexploded) were sufficient to keep us on God's good side. We know better, but we can hope.
